Nicole Rico is a Los Angeles-based artist and MFA candidate at UC Davis, specializing in experimental video, performance, and photography. Her work traverses the realms of the collective unconscious, the Jungian shadow, the monstrous feminine, and the abjection of female corporeality. She has been featured both nationally and internationally, by the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, FreshPaint Magazine, and Simon & Schuster.
